Classic Beef Korokke (croquette)

This food always brings me back to my childhood as when I was a little girl, there were local butchers around us. Nowadays, some chain superstores are going to be majority for consumers (shame!) but in that old days, still local specialities’ shops existed.
And most butchers had two sections in their shops and sold a beef korokke that used leftover minced beef next to the section of fresh meat. Then the shop re-deep-fried it after people’s orders and handed it over that was just deep-fried in front of us. I still can’t forget how much excited to hold the korokke that is in a brown paper wrap because it was special for me as my parents allowed me to buy it really occasionally and simply it was delicious!

Nostalgic!!

The other day, I was eager to let myself indulge in that nostalgic taste, and made it at my kitchen.

Awww absolutely ecstatic!

I was teleported to my childhood in a blink 🙂 A girl holding a hot korokke!

Of course, my kids loved it and devoured all.
