Grilled Soya Butter Scallop & Sour Plum Marinated Sashimi Scallop, Zenzai (Oshiruko, Sweet Red Bean Soup with Mochi)

We are lucky to inhabit near such a lively local market.
The other day, I made another typical Japanese foods after my food shopping from the market.

Grilled Mochi for the dessert, Zenzai.

Another grill is for the main, grilled soya butter scallop.

Clear Scallop Dashi Soup

Sashimi Scallop which was marinated with sour plum (Umeboshi) and Shiso leaves.
This cold salad is very summery food in Japan.

Zenzai is more winter-like dessert, to be honest, but should be fine!
