Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) Night

Another throwback of our cooking for celebrating somebody’s birthday.

Tonkatsu is his most favourite food and his request for his birthday night was A Pile of Tonkatsu. lol
I wanted to make his dream come true, so I cooked 1.5kg of pork shoulder for Tonkatsu.

Look at this thickness…

The crumbs were so crispy crunchy and the meat was so juicy and tender!

Sliced cabbage is obviously essential side dish for Tonkatsu.

‘The Great Taters Community’ that I joined kindly shared the Japanese dressing to us. This dressing is superb!
We could eat bottomless cabbage.
