2021 Christmas Roast Beef & 2022 New Year Sukiyaki

(Belated) Happy New Year to you all!
We were extremely busy for our first moving in Singapore between Christmas and a new year despite the moving was a small difference.
In such an unsettled time, we still enjoyed our cooking for the festive season.
Now we are very glad to restart our food blog here again!

We made a roast beef for Christmas of the last year and wished our success for the moving.
The gravy was so tasty and we appreciated a super tender beef.

Gravy and Japanese rice is our style because the sauce is based on Soy sauce and Japanese Dashi 🙂

My family loved it and the kids were almost licking their plates! lol

Of course, we can not miss out the Christmas cake!
This year, we asked my good friend to make a cake and she kindly accepted my request for making a beetroot cake.

This was utterly delicious and made our Christmas special! (Thanks Kim for your generous kindness!)

Then I kept the leftover of gravy and after our moving, we made a Sukiyaki using that for celebrating our new home and new year 🙂

The meat is Wagyu and Hokkaido pork.

This was the boys’ first time to try Sukiyaki in their lives, so they were so mesmerized to their ‘help-yourself style’ food.

Obviously, the final filling was noodle.

So good, hah?

We are excited to hold our cooking classes at our new home from this weekend 🙂

Stay well and wishing you all the best for this year.
