Falsomagro (Italian Meatloaf) with Tomato Sauce, Ruby Grapefruit Jelly

This Italian food is a traditional meat roll dish in Sicilian cuisine that dates to the 13th century.
Of course, authentic one does not garnish Okura, but I wanted to play it up with Asian twist 🙂

Before grilled, it looked like a log.

The dry leaves are bay leaves that works for extra nice flavour into the meat loaf.

The combination of green, white and red colours is absolutely Italian national colour. So pretty!

The fillings are boiled eggs, spinach and parmigiano reggiano cheese that are wrapped with minced pork and sliced pork meat. Obviously, taste is so good!

So juicy ruby grapefruits turned into beautiful gems!!

These people eat anything. lol

Hope you have a lovely day with your loved ones.
