Asian Cabbage Wrapped Squid Paste in Creamy Sauce, Tomato & Basil Soup

Another home-style Italian food 🙂

To be honest, my son is not a fan of squid because it is too chewy for him, but I want him consume good balanced nutritions, so I made up the squid into paste.

The paste is seasoned with white miso paste as a hidden deep flavour. Then wrap the paste with Chinese cabbage and steam it.

Easy peasy, right?

Who can resist the combination of tomato and basil??

I served small pasta that the kids’ favourite alongside aiming for distracting from the squid! lol
Finally the boy appreciated the squid and loved it!

Hahaha, the small effort just payed off, that made me chuffed!
