Cornish Seafood Platter -Pickled Mackerel (shime-saba), Grilled Scallop with Yuzu Pepper Cream, Organic Cold Tofu

Another lush harvest from the sea of Cornwall.
Mackerel and live scallops.
These are absolutely fresh as they were swimming in the sea until just the day before.
I got them from the fishmonger Kernow Sashimi as always.
I cleaned them with love (yes true!) and turned them into traditional Japanese dishes.

I used only one tea spoon of double cream as a fat, but no oil at all.
How clean and fresh! 
These dishes are perfect meal for such a hot summer.
