Oden is a Japanese dish consisting of several ingredients and these ingredients vary according to region and each household.
This is my style of Oden.
I simmered Mooli, boiled egg, processed fish cake, pork meat ball, vegetable and Udon in fish broth which seasoned with soy sauce and sake.
What a hearty and perfect meal for winter!
I am planning to start serving such Izakaya meals (Japanese tapas) in Cornwall in 2017.
