Recipe -Stir-fried Beef with Sansho Pepper (牛肉と山椒の甘辛炒め), Sansho Seasoned Burdock Rice (山椒香るごぼうごはん)

Arima (有馬) is the most famous and the oldest historical place for Japanese Sansho corn (山椒). When I was in Japan, I ordered massive amount of fresh and raw Arima Sansho in June which was the season and simmered for my stock for the coming whole year.
Now I’m in Singapore and it is hard to find the fresh Sansho corns but I’m so pleased to know I can get cooked one, particularly that is from Arima and that made me over the moon! That braised Sansho is so tasty and delicious! You can purchase Arima Sansho from SoShinsen in Singapore.

So, today I’m going to share two recipes using the Arima Sansho. These are super simple and easy cooking but the taste is absolutely authentic.

Also, I would like to introduce the most delicious soy sauce to you all. In the picture above, you can see the bottle of say sauce which is called Shibamine no Shizuku made by Shibanuma distillery in Ibaraki prefecture.
The taste is so flavourful and elegant, truly I can drink it! Where you should check is MoguShop in Singapore.

OK, finally here are the recipes of these yummy healthy Japanese foods!

Enjoy cooking and Stay Safe.
